ABOUT US
Nothing is made until it is yours.
Old craft, cut for the way you live now.
RJ’s Pret is a luxury pretwear house founded by Dr Rida Jawaad in 2018. The work we build on is older than the house itself — mukesh laid by hand, dupattas finished on the loom’s terms rather than a machine’s, embroidery that takes the days it takes.
Most luxury is produced in quantity and sold as though it were rare. We work the other way round: a piece is cut after it is ordered — in your size, in the cloth you chose, by hand.
Designed and made in Islamabad, with a UK base in Derby, worn across Pakistan, Britain and most places in between.

The person behind it
RJ’s Pret is Dr Rida Jawaad’s house. She leads the design work, chooses the cloth, and personally takes on a small number of bridal and made-to-measure commissions each season — not as a marketing line, but because a piece cut to someone’s own measurements cannot be delegated to a size chart.
If you commission something from us, you will speak to her. That is the part of this business we are least willing to scale.
Two homes, one standard
Design and making
Our design studio, production floor and warehouse sit in PWD, O-9. This is where cloth is chosen, embroidery is set, and every piece is cut and finished by hand.
Head office and UK base
Our UK base handles orders, returns and appointments for British and European customers. It is also why a piece made here is finished to a standard that has to satisfy two markets at once, not one.
How we make things
We work two ways, and we are clear about which is which before you buy — because they are not the same promise.
- Made to order. Cut and stitched after you order, to your own measurements if you give them. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. It takes longer, and it fits.
- Ready stock. Already made and waiting — in Islamabad for Pakistan, in Derby for the UK. On its way within days, and what you see is what ships.
If you are unsure which a piece is, ask — we would rather answer than have you guess.
The collections
Bridal, and anything made to measure
Bridal is where we are most careful and least rushed. A commission begins with a conversation, not an order form: what the day looks like, what you want to feel like in it, what your family expects, and what the cloth can honestly do.
Measurements can be taken at the Islamabad studio, in Derby, over a video call, or at an event we are attending. Wherever you are, it is the same designer and the same standard.
Getting it to you
Free delivery on every order, to every city. No minimum, no conditions.
From Rs 7,500, charged by weight and shown at checkout, and free on orders over Rs 130,000. The UK and Europe also have a free option if you can wait three to four weeks.
Everything is dispatched from the Islamabad warehouse. We ship worldwide from there, and where a country charges import duty we will tell you what to expect before you order, rather than let it meet you at the door.
